of the week: wednesday 26 july 2006

album of the week goes to arcade fire's cbc sessions. not really an album, i know. but still a great compilation of music. if you are fan, this is a must-own. if you are not a fan, this will convince you. (via rapidshare)
colbert of the week goes to steve's mockery of bush, tea and orientals, all rolled into one. nobody does it better. nobody. (via youtube)
entourage of the week goes to ari gold. jeremy piven has his birthday party this past week and guess who showed up? none other than lilo herself. in her bikini, natch. jpiv is such a rock star he invites 19 year olds over in their swimsuits just for shits and giggles. (via egotastic)
entourage of the week part 2 goes to this buffoon at msnbc. if you're not a fan of the show, you won't get this. (via gorillamask)
kevin smith of the week goes to his superman script story. in a week where critics ripped clerks ii to shreds and nobody went to see it, at least we can remeber why we love kevin. if you have not seen an evening with kevin smith and you call yourself a fan of his, sneak down to blockbuster and rent it. at a whopping four hours, it can be tough to watch in one sitting, but stick to it as there are many more laugh-til-your-cheeks-hurt stories just like this one. (via bamkapow)
pic of the week can be found above. women who get back at their no-good husbands make me laugh. click here to view her blog. what i've read is a riot. (via thatgirlemily)
quote of the week goes to
trailer of the week goes to idewild. again, not the newset trailer available, but i just saw it for the first time - so it's new to me. i kinda feel like this one could go either way. but fatty, you say, it stars two rappers and is a musical. that's true. but i have to believe that if anyone can pull it off, it's outkast. anything and everything those two guys have touched for the last ten years has turned to gold. (via apple)
tv of the week goes to bunny. if you are a fan of bb you owe it to yourself to read bunny's summaries at least once -- they are quite literally laugh out loud hysterical. (via bitobunny)
wiki of the week goes to this conglomerate of all songs cowbell. 'pink houses' by johnny cougar was added by yours truly as it is one of the greatest rock songs ever and should be a part of americana.
