two of the better albums of the year. i only listened to the killers a couple of times so far, but i'm a pretty big fan so i'm sure i'll like it.

just a side note: final fantasy (owen pallett) won canada's polaris prize recently. it's awarded to the best canadian album (regardless of sales, genre, hype) judged by a panel of +100 journalists and broadcasters.
i know! thanks anon, i first got to see final fantasy open for arcade fire (wolf parade was there too) back in april 05 and he blew me and my brother away. we went to that show (paid A LOT of money to get tix) to see af but left craving more from wolf parade and final fantasy. i recommend to anyone, if you ever get the chance, check him out live -- so original.
Go to youtube and search for Final Fantasy Mariah Carey cover. Look for "Fantasy." It's hilarious.
thanks jen, i've actually seen him perform 'fantasy' both times i saw him, it's amazing. he also covers bloc party's 'this modern love'... so good.
